Baby's First Trip to See Santa!

I'm not sure these pictures need much explanation.  Like most kids his age, Hunter was NOT excited to meet Santa!

Classic.

"Take me away, mom!"

Trying to be brave......

"How about I just steal the old guy's chair?!"

High five for Santa?

While it looks like he's pushing Santa's hand away, he did actually give him a high five!  Thanks Santa!

Hunter's California First Birthday

What a blessed kid: two first birthday parties!!  Hunter's second party was here at home.  We has lots and lots of people inside of our little house.  We had outdoor activities planned, but it decided to rain just as the party was starting.  So, we all stayed cozy and dry inside.  Bring on more cake!!

The Cakes!  Big, big thanks to our friend Julie for making both of these cakes for Hunter!

The food table with Hunter's new dump trucks helping us serve the food.

The set up - notice the orange cones around the windows wishing Hunter a happy birthday!

Lots of people at the party as Hunter starts to dig into his cake.

Mmmmmmm chocolate.......

Still eating.... everyone else still partying......

We are so blessed with such good friends and family!

Grammy braving a chocolate high five!

12/11/2012

This was a very important day for our family, as our little, tiny baby boy turned one.  Jon and I can hardly believe that a year has passed!  Hunter has brought more joy and love into our family than we ever could have imagined possible.  What an amazing gift?!  Here's how he enjoyed his day:

Opening his present from mom and dad:

Off to breakfast with dad:

We ended the day with cupcakes with Grammy, Grandpa, and Uncle Aaron, but didn't get any pictures.  Happy birthday, Hunter J!!

Hunter's Texas First Birthday Party

Oh my goodness, our little baby is turning one!!  We were so lucky to be in Texas only days before his actual birthday.  Nana and Popi were nice enough to throw Hunter is first 1st Birthday Party!  While we did more at the party than just feed Hunter cake, that appears to be all we have pictures of!

Holiday Texas Trip

We got to spend a week in Texas!!  We weren't able to travel on Thanksgiving or Christmas, so we just went for a week in between the two.  Here are some highlights:

At the airport in California, waiting for our plane.

Seeing the big Christmas tree at Nana's work with Great Grandmommy as a tour guide!

Shopping with Great Grandmommy.

Swinging at the park where we visited the prairie dogs!
Walking around the prairie dog enclosure.

Hanging out with Great Granddaddy.

Enjoying Fantasy of Lights with Great GPs.

Still in love after 60+ years of marriage!

Riding on the horse Great Granddaddy made for Uncle Jon.
